Who we are
Jason Cook and his family began Cook’s Home Improvement in August of 2005 and it continues to be a family owned and operated organization, dedicated to excellence in customer service. We have built this business with the intention of staying in business. We are leaders in our industry: always operating with a heart of honesty and integrity, and giving back to our community. We truly value our customers and the relationships we build with them on a daily basis.
Jason – the lighter side
Jason is an honest, sincere, straight-shooter with a crazy sense of humor. He has a true love of nature and animals are drawn to him wherever he goes. In fact, he carries dog treats with him just in case he finds a new “best friend” on the job site! He loves to tinker, build, create, and learn. He also likes to work on computers and he does computer maintenance and repair in his extra time.
Jason – the nitty gritty
Jason is a general contractor with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He worked for a commercial roofing company, a road construction company, and built houses from the ground up. He also worked as a remodeler and in the warranty division of a large remodeling company before deciding to start a business of his own.
About the Cooks
We have strong faith in God and an extremely positive perspective on life. We are natural born givers and love the feeling of supporting our family, friends, and community. We truly believe that what you put out into the world comes back to you tenfold and we’ve experienced this firsthand many times. We have two fun-filled, active kids and enjoy spending time together as a family. We love being able to share the ins and outs of running a business with them while teaching them the importance of hard work, quality, excellence, and living an honest life.
Freedom from debt
Cook’s Home Improvement understands the value of staying within a budget as we strive to be a debt free company. We attended Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University in 2008 and have been “gazelle intense” about paying off debt and operating more responsibly ever since. We operate the company on a cash basis and other than typical "revolving" credit accounts, we are debt free. Operating a debt free company gives us the security of knowing what we have is paid for. It gives you the security of knowing we’ll be around long into the future. We have facilitated Financial Peace University at our church and enjoy supporting other couples in their efforts to control their finances.

Cook’s Home Improvement focuses on quality construction and solid customer communication. We continue to learn about our industry and strive to make sure that you get the newest and best materials and building practices that we can offer. We go above and beyond the requirement of an 18 month warranty and offer a minimum 2 year warranty on all work performed. In spite of our best efforts, delays sometimes occur. We are committed to communicating often and with every technological resource available to update you on the status of your project. |
